A Polaroid is as beautiful, fragile, and fleeting as life itself. The Finnish photographic artist Lauri Eriksson uses this medium to capture images of woodlands in and around Helsinki. Lauri Eriksson has held solo exhibitions both in Finland and abroad. He has been experimenting with Polaroids since the 1990s. This marks his fourth book of photography, featuring a pick of his finest works from the past few years.

Exhibition: Kenen luonto?/ Whose Nature? Turun Taidehalli, Kunsthalle Turku
In July Kunsthalle Turku will be taken over by the largest photography project on the subject of nature in Finland: Kenen luonto? (Whose Nature?), brings nature photographers and art photographers together for the first time. Featured photographers: Lauri Eriksson, Mika Honkalinna, Nina Huisman, Juho Jäppinen, Sanna Kannisto, Jaakko Kahilaniemi, Sami Karjalainen, Veera Konsti, Laura Konttinen, Ritva Kovalainen, Harri Larjosto, Lasse Lecklin, Ulla-Mari Lindström, Esko Männikkö, Anna Niskanen, Tuula Närhinen, Riitta Päiväläinen, Antti-Jussi Rantala, Perttu Saksa, Juha Taskinen, Noora-Maija Tokee and Markus Varesvuo.

Exhibition: @Massisolationprojectfi, Northern Photographic Centre
The exhibition tour started in February 2021 from Jyväskylä's Galleria Ratamo. From the Northern Photographic Centre it will move to the Photographic Centre Nykyaika from 10.7.2021-2.8.2021. The tour ends at the Veteli Art Manor in September 2021.
